Healthcare providers create orders following a standard of care for jaundice newborns.  Enlighten Infant Home Care provides home phototherapy services to newborns who have jaundice that require treatment according to the healthcare providers orders.  We provide skilled home nursing visits, which include but not limited to, newborn assessment, vital sign evaluation, weight checks and lab collection. We provide education to the family/caregiver regarding disease processes and ordered therapy.  Additional services include lab follow up and weight checks for low birth weight or at risk infants. At this time we service Central Alabama and surrounding counties with the capability to provide home care to both North and South Alabama as staffing allows.

We use the bili·hut™ from Little Sparrows Technologies to help newborns recover faster from jaundice.

Once the online referral form is submitted, an email is immediately sent to referrals@enlighteninfanthomecare.com. An Enlighten nurse will contact the family to arrange a home visit upon receiving notification of the order. Treatment can begin on the same day as the referral.
